I began working with wood in 1990. Before that I was a professional musician.
The transition from music to woodworking seems very natural, since I still rely heavily on the properties
of rhythm and harmony for my work.
I love working with the grain, color and texture of wood to compose a balanced
and stimulating work.
With each new piece comes the promise of creating something very special, a small cabinet or jewelry box that someone will cherish. Primarily self-taught, I am largely influenced by Asian and "Arts and Crafts" designs.
