The woods used in this jewelry box are padauk, wenge, and East Indian rosewood. The lid panel is wenge with padauk inlay. The lid handles are E. Indian Rosewood.
The lid is frame and panel construction and the frame parts are joined with bridle joints. The case sides are joined with dovetails.
There are two sliding trays, and the box is lined with black velvet. Brusso hinges, a half-mortise lock, and two keys make up the hardware. The finish is a hand-rubbed oil/varnish mixture and wax. (not available)
