The woods used in this jewelry box are: walnut, wenge, and padauk.
The lid
is frame and panel construction (panel is wenge with padauk inlay) and the
sides of the case are dovetailed.
The lid handles are wenge.
There are two sliding trays. The lining is black velvet and brusso hinges
and a half-mortise lock with two keys make up the hardware. (
